Position Summary:
The Clinical Lead RN provides leadership and clinical expertise to support nursing staff and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care. This role includes oversight of daily operations, mentoring team members, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote excellence in clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.
• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate communication among team members, patients, and families.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
• Participate in performance evaluations and staff development.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Clinical Nurse required.
• Preferred: 2 years of clinical nursing experience and 6 months as a Charge Nurse.
• Current RN license with the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think analytically, work independently, and collaborate effectively.

Additional Requirements:

• Must attend hospital mandatory training annually.
• Must maintain and successfully complete all competencies, including age-specific and department-specific training, on an annual basis.
• Completion of unit-specific training requirements within designated timeframes (includes internal and professional organization courses).
