DAY WAREHOUSE - PACKOUT

Salary is $21.00 per hour / Shift 8am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Product Scanning & Tracking
  • Scan all products into the WMS system upon receipt and before storage.
  • Ensure pallets are scanned into their designated reserve or pick locations.
• Material Handling
  • Operate electric pallet jack, stand-up reach truck, and sit-down forklift to move product safely and efficiently.
  • Complete an average of 120 pallet moves per shift, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Inventory & Location Accuracy
  • Verify pallet tags, product codes, and storage assignments match WMS records.
  • Correct any mis-scanned or misplaced items promptly to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with supervisors, loaders, and drivers to coordinate workflow.
  • Report issues (e.g., damaged product, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies) immediately to the supervisor.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all warehouse safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain proper certification for powered industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts (certification required).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high accuracy.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with WMS systems and barcode scanning technology preferred.

Performance Expectations

• Maintain a minimum productivity rate of 120 pallet moves per shift.
• Zero tolerance for unscanned or misplaced pallets.
• Active participation in safety and team initiatives.
