About the role

We are currently partnering with a leading healthcare organization in search of a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Gyn Oncology. As an MSL, you will play a pivotal role within their US Scientific Affairs team, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to communicate scientific information, clinical data, and development plans to healthcare professionals. This is a full-time, exempt position based in Seattle, WA, and will report to the Associate Director of US Medical Science Liaisons.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide field-based medical information, scientific data, and education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) regarding the organization's FDA approved and pipeline products in the Gyn Oncology field.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with thought leaders, clinical investigators, and other key stakeholders within the scientific community.
  • Support the Clinical Operations organization by actively participating in the organization's sponsored research activities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for investigators interested in discussing and developing investigator-initiated research projects involving Fields, inovitroTM, or other investigational products.
  • Ensure compliance with scientific communication standards and deliver accurate education on disease states relevant to the organization.
  • Attend and provide scientific support during regional and national congress meetings, as well as other US Scientific Affairs activities.
  • Gather Competitive Intelligence (CI) and stay abreast of disease treatment trends, providing valuable insights to the organization.
  • Serve as an internal scientific resource, offering training and educational support to colleagues.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with a preferred scientific/clinical background, coupled with at least 1-2 years of experience as an MSL or in a comparable role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in oncology or the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Demonstrated fluency in articulating scientific concepts and data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information.
  • Adaptability, good judgment, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • A strategic, passionate, and self-starting approach with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong team player, capable of working effectively in both large and small teams.
