Position Overview

The Billing & Accounts Specialist ensures timely reporting and collection of payments through invoicing for clients and contracted locations. This role requires understanding client benefits and authorizations, claims processing, and coordination with off-site billing agencies.

What You’ll Do

• Manage accounts payable & receivable for clinic clients
• Send client statements and invoice off-site contracts
• Review & process claims, manage denials, and reconcile payments
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality
• Use Excel (including formulas) to track and report billing data
• Collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year experience in Medical or Behavioral Health Billing
• Familiarity with CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 coding
• Knowledge of EOBs, remittance advice, and denial management
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas preferred)
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High School Diploma required; degree in related field preferred
