About Crystal Bridges:
Crystal Bridges is a museum of American art located in Bentonville, Arkansas. We explore the unfolding story of America by actively collecting, exhibiting, interpreting, and preserving outstanding works that illuminate the American heritage and artistic possibilities. Founded by Alice Walton in 2005, the museum opened in 2011 and is a public, non-profit charitable organization with free admission.
The Momentary is a new contemporary art space that opened to the public on February 22, 2020, in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas. A satellite to Crystal Bridges, the Momentary presents visual, performing, and culinary arts. The mission of the Momentary is to champion contemporary art’s role in everyday life and explore the unfolding story of contemporary American arts in an international context by actively commissioning and exhibiting outstanding works that explore new ideas and inspire action.
Position Summary:
The Beverage Cocktail Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by delivering a welcoming and engaging experience. This role involves taking drink orders, serving beverages and light food items, and ensuring that guests have a memorable visit. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills, a thorough knowledge of cocktails and beverage service, and a commitment to upholding service standards. T
This role is key in delivering exceptional guest experiences while sharing responsibility for hospitality operations campus-wide across multiple locations and contributing to the Museum’s mission. Your work will help create memorable moments for every guest.
Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Guest Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Order Taking & Delivery: Accurately take drink and food orders, relay them to the bar or kitchen, and deliver them efficiently to guests. Opening, pouring, wine, beer, and spirits.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic offerings, to provide recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
- Cleanliness & Maintenance: Regularly clean tables, serving areas, and surrounding spaces to maintain a tidy and welcoming environment for guests. Ensure all service stations are organized and stocked.
- Furniture Arrangement: Assist in moving and arranging furniture to accommodate guest needs, including setting up and breaking down areas for special events or changes in guest volume.
- Compliance: Follow all safety, health, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest age and practicing responsible alcohol service.
- Sales & Upselling: Proactively suggest food and beverage pairings and promote special offerings to enhance guest experiences and maximize sales.
- Payment Processing: Accurately handle guest payments, including cash and card transactions, and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
