Requirements

Dental Assistant Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• 1+ years of experience in general dental or oral surgery practice preferred
• Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting preferred
• Assist the Oral Surgeon during procedures, including tooth extractions and dental implants, while recording doctor notes and vital signs.
• Prepare treatment rooms, take high-quality dental x-rays, and follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Review and accurately document patient health histories, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and support for a comfortable experience.
• Perform office management tasks using practice software and maintain a professional, patient-focused approach.
