As a Leader for Vendor Management and Demand planning, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our team. This role will create and maintain demand and capacity forecast models for our teams.
Vendor Management optimizes business performances by helping to drive vendor cost optimization and governance. We act as trusted advisors and counterweight to business leaders, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a vendor manager is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business.
This is a very strategic position for Vendor Management team and covers various engagements for Technology & Operations. Below is a list of key tasks for the role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead demand planning activities and ensure collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop monthly/weekly forecasts for specific product(s)/customer(s)/channel(s) as assigned/needed based on the business needs and maintain forecasts that align with the strategies and objectives of the business.
Track KPIs and provide reports that give visibility of the demand and resource capacity.
Driving contracting and vendor strategy across the division
Serve as the gateway between vendors, our business partners and corporate groups
Ensure appropriate technical considerations addressed in contracts, SLAs and acceptance criteria captured
Relationship ownership for full vendor spend
Assist in contract negotiation in partnership with business and procurement teams
Understand and influence: pipeline, vendor requirements, resource planning and financial impact
Enforce consistent payment discipline by processing invoices on time and ensuring we capture as much early pay discount as possible
Identify opportunities, make recommendations and help execute changes for increased efficiencies with vendor spend, for example consolidation, working with preferred vendors who give JPM preferential rates
Act as a portfolio manager from a Risk Management perspective on corporate Third-Party Oversight tools

8+ years’ experience in Vendor Management function
Energetic and dynamic in style
Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
Present well to senior and global business heads
Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions
Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Attention to detail with logical thought process
