Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Senior Consolidation Accountant (f/m) to join our Accountancy department based in Toulouse, France.

The Consolidation team of Airbus has a key role to play in the preparation of the financial information to be shared with internal and external parties. The team is responsible for the aggregation of the financial data from entities and divisions and performing the necessary adjustments to obtain the consolidated financial statements ensuring data quality and consistency.

Being part of the Airbus Consolidation team, you will be jointly accountable for the delivery of Airbus consolidated statements in accordance with overall quality and timetable requirements:

• Monthly closing (limited months only) for management and reporting purposes

• Quarterly delivery of audited financial statements

• Yearly disclosure of Airbus financial statements

Your challenges:

Monthly Closing activities

• Accompany local accounting teams at entity level to ensure they deliver on time and on quality monthly closing data

• Perform consolidation entries (intercompany elimination, harmonization entries) with the proper level of documentation

• Analyze consolidated financial statements

• Report first Airbus Commercial Aircraft and then Airbus Group consolidated financial statements to top management

• Support the external financial audit

Projects

• Develop internal controls & automatization of consolidation tasks

• Contribute to the development of a new consolidation tool

• Support reporting and local accounting to implement perimeter changes (merger, carve-out)

Your boarding pass:

• Master’s degree level in the Finance or Accounting domain, or equivalent

• Significant experience in accounting, financial audit is required

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is needed

• Good communication skills, customer oriented and able to work in an international environment,

• Rigorous, recognized for your organizational skills and your attention to the details

• Team player

• Problem solving oriented with ability to step back,  

• Advanced level in English is mandatory 

Salary range:

“Salary range based on the required profile: 50 to 60 K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication”.
