Responsible for support for the Concrete, Assembly, Framing/Patch, and Paint department’s inspections as assigned on shelters.  Responsible for assuring the department’s complete rework and issues illustrated on write-ups from inspections.

Essential Duties:

1. Troubleshoot for present or potential problems
2. Handle assigned inspections
3. Know and understand all aspects of VFP’s work assigned to you
4. Working with Engineering and Production to resolve problems
5. Make precise, detailed documentation
6. Inspect incoming material from vendors used in the concrete department for manufacturing shelters
7. Perform other duties as required by supervisor and/or manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

1. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
2. Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Able to read blueprints
2. Able to read a tape measure
3. Simple math additions and deductions
4. Minor computer skills a plus
