The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

The Intelligent Automations Development and Delivery lead will play a critical role in the overall program's mission to drive efficiencies for our functional stakeholders and business customers through the discovery, build and sustainment of AI solutions.   This role is responsible for:

 

  • Delivery execution and overseeing the design, development and implementation of all intelligent automation solutions.

  • Managing team capacity, prioritizing use cases and aligning with value team on automations transitioned to Delivery.

  • Collaborating across program towers to drive overall strategy, achievement of program targets, and seamless deliveries 

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of developers, architects, and business managers/analysts who are responsible for building and implementing automation / AI solutions.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, including goal setting, performance reviews, conflict management and career pathing.

  • Allocate resources effectively, including assigning tasks to members, managing budget, and coordinating with other teams as needed.

  • Manage program capacity, velocity and performance across developed project plans

  • Oversee the coordination of the deployment of automation solutions and collaborate with the Value Assurance team to ensure value and performance is tracked appropriately and Operate team for efficient handover.

  • Ensure the creation of comprehensive documentation for automation solutions, including design specifications and runbooks as appropriate

  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project’s success by anticipating potential issues and having contingency plans in place.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve development and delivery process by implementing methodologies to enhance productivity.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of applicable experience with at least 3-5 years of experience managing large, complex intelligent automation / AI implementation programs

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as Jira to plan, execute, and monitor automation projects with excellent interpersonal communications skills, executive presence, conflict management and Vendor Management

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical and operational challenges.

  • Expertise in software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) models with a Strategic Mindset and ability to Influence with the ability to Manage Change, Ambiguity & Complexity

  • Builds Effective Teams, drives results and ensures accountability
