Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program Quality Manager
Tallahassee State College is thrilled to announce a full-time grant-funded opening for the position of Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program Quality Manager – P10974 with the Florida Department of Education, Division of Career and Adult Education. What You’ll Do
The primary responsibilities of the Career and Technical Education Program Quality Manager is the organization, coordination, and execution of the Department's CTE program quality evaluation and leading efforts around championing best practices related to workforce education and new program development. The manager serves as the lead staff member for implementing the program quality review, also referred to as the CTE Program Quality Audit or the CTE Audit. The manager will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program quality across secondary and postsecondary education sectors in Florida.
Coordinate data collection and organization of processes related to program reviews and the reporting of outcomes among internal and external stakeholders.
Provide leadership and guidance on methodology while building consensus for audit-related decision-making. Responsible for annual execution of audit in alignment with framework reviews.
Collaborate with representatives of key stakeholder groups in the administration of the annual review of CTE programs, including representatives from secondary and postsecondary district CTE programs.
Assist in the management, tracking, and analysis of local reviews of CTE programs, including but not limited to the following:
Manage communications with stakeholders.
Develop and present presentations for stakeholders.
Create technical assistance documents for specific tasks and projects.
Conduct and write literature reviews, annotated bibliographies, and summaries of relevant literature.
Investigate and summarize emerging topics, reports, and research in relevant fields.
Develop talking points for Statewide reports and Senior Leadership
Review, advise, and evaluate data for State of Florida grant funding.
Perform descriptive quantitative and qualitative analyses of audit data.
Generate and deploy online surveys.
Plan convenings, including assistance with event logistics, documentation preparation, meetings with event host, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:
Master's degree in Education Leadership or Policy, Program Evaluation, Public Policy or Administration, or a related field and 3-4 years of related experience such as experience conducting or managing research and/or evaluation projects or
PHD degree in appropriate area of specialization and 1-2 years of related experience.
