Job Summary:

Manages the operations of the onboarding team. Ensures process and optimization of systems are providing the best onboarding experience for new team members. Ensures compliance with all state, regulatory and organizational guidelines are maintained for SSM Health employees. Coaches and leads the team, including administration of all performance conversations and development plans for each team member. Oversees accuracy of metric and analytic reporting, including tracking of the function’s Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). Serves as liaison to hiring managers, talent acquisition team and employees while proactively creating opportunities to share knowledge and transparency with key stakeholders around the onboarding process for SSM Health.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages process and workflow for department.  Serves as a final point of escalation to ensure positive and productive resolution and acts as a satisfaction point for customers that cannot be helped by the team.
  • Presents and promotes department’s function to key stakeholders at every opportunity to create a transparent culture of compliance.
  • Collaborates regularly with Tier 2.5 HRIS to ensure optimization of functionality in HR system to automate and streamline best practices.
  • Tracks trends through regular audit reports and utilizes the data to make improvements in process or system capabilities for the team.
  • Suggests recommendations for opportunities to innovate and enhance the function.
  • Participates in initiatives of the organization to better the function (CI events, consultant inquiries etc.)
  • Develops a strategy to advance the function to the concierge level future vision for the organization.
  • Manages multiple tasks simultaneously and adjusts to issues as needed in a dynamic work environment. Prioritizes and effectively anticipates and responds to issues as they arise.
  • Coaches and develops team members to advance their skills and competencies to support their career aspirations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Five years’ experience, with two years’ leadership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
