About the Position: 

College and Program Development generates financial support for Cal State Fullerton, benefiting each of the eight colleges, Student Affairs, Titan Athletics, the Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton, and the Pollak Library. We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Associate Director of Development, College of the Arts (Administrator I). This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose-driven team and help fuel the next chapter of impact in one of Southern California’s most dynamic communities. The Associate Director of Development works under the direction of the Senior Director of Development for the College of the Arts. Fundraising activities are consistent with the priorities of the Vice President for University Advancement as well as the Dean of the College. Responsibilities include the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift prospects and donors including corporate and foundation leaders, supporters, alumni, parents, faculty, and emeriti. Individual and corporate giving as well as membership development are key components, along with maintaining a multi-interval strategic fundraising plan with prospect management responsibilities. Additionally, the position assists the Senior Director with fundraising, cultivation, and stewardship events. Works with the Senior Director to provide counsel and expertise to Board members and event committees; partners with corporate and foundation relations specialists in completing corporate, foundation and government grant proposals; and performs gift processing procedures through the Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Foundation. Other duties as assigned.
