Financial Analyst

Schedule: Days; Monday – Friday

SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will review project level revenue and costs and make recommendations for margin improvement. The Financial Analyst will provide analysis and actionable consultative advice on topics relative to ACM Global Laboratories financial performance, reconciliations, pricing and project level profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops financial models to review study/project level profitability to support management decision-making.
• Reviews and reconciles global studies on a regular basis
• Partners with the proposals team to update pricing on studies with scope changes
• Maintains price list and reviews cost changes to provide recommendations for updates
• Partners with operational teams to review study/project level forecasting
• Performs moderate to complex financial analysis including conducting research and identifying, designing and implementing applications and tools to fulfill reporting and analysis needs.
• Runs various scenarios through models and interprets financial impact. Measures financial results against budget and forecast.
• Assists in the development of the long-range financial plans and continuously analyzes operating financial results.
• Assist in the development of the annual budget and analyzes actual and budgeted figures on an ongoing basis.
• Support the Finance Director on projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance or clinical trials
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Critical thinking and ability to problem-solve
• Strong attention to detail

• Advanced excel skillset
• Experience with Great Plains software
