We are currently looking for a Lead Personal Assistant for The Blake at Bossier City 

Primary Responsibilities of the Lead Personal Assistant:

• Train and mentor personal assistants on all expectations of providing world class care to residents. 
• Assist with supervising the activities assigned to direct care support staff to aid in development and success of the wellness team. 
• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc. 
• Reports changes in the health and status of the resident and completes daily recordkeeping of the residents progress.
•  Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs 
• Light housekeeping and laundry 
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team 
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy 

Requirements

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others 
• Must have 6 months experience as a caregiver/personal assistant 
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and create change High School Diploma/GED Equivalent 
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred but not required unless state requirement CPR/First Aid, preferred 
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays Experience working with older adults required 
• Ability to bend, stoop, carry, and lift light to moderate items 
• Must be able to assist with mobility support and transfer assistance 
• Compassion, positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a team player
