Position Summary
Sabel Systems is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning human capital strategies with organizational objectives in a fast-growing government contracting environment. This role acts as a change agent and employee champion, providing expertise in workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and compliance.
This position plays a critical role in aligning business operations with human capital strategies, enabling leaders to effectively manage growth, navigate organizational change, and execute against evolving business priorities.

Work Location & Schedule
This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing anywhere within the United States
Candidates must be available to work Eastern Time Zone business hours to support business leaders and organizational needs.
What You’ll Do
As a Human Resources Business Partner at Sabel Systems, you will:
Serve as the primary HR partner to business leaders, aligning people strategies with operational and growth objectives
Partner with department heads and leaders to understand business goals and develop integrated HR strategies that support organizational objectives
Partner with the Director, HRBPs to implement and sustain Human Capital Management (HCM) strategic initiatives aligned with corporate growth objectives
Provide consultative guidance on workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, and talent development
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, mid-year check-ins, annual reviews, and development planning
Coach leaders through employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions
Interpret and advise on HR policies and employment law compliance, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OFCCP, EEO, and other federal, state, and local regulations
Support organizational design, change management, and workforce transitions, including reorganizations, onboarding, and offboarding initiatives
Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven recommendations that improve organizational performance and employee experience
Proactively identify business and workforce needs and collaborate with Centers of Excellence and cross-functional stakeholders to implement effective solutions
Lead or support HR projects and initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
May supervise other members of the HR team, as needed
Required Qualifications
6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in a Business Partner or consultative HR role
6+ years of HR experience supporting government contracting environments
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development principles
Demonstrated ability to influence and build trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment, applying strategic thinking and sound judgment to solve complex business and workforce challenges
Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions and organizational integrations
Professional HR certification, such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
