We are currently seeking a Salesforce Sr. Developer to join our team in San Jose, San José (CR-SJ), Costa Rica (CR).

Salesforce Sr. Developer

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, thorough knowledge of the Salesforce platform, its best practices, architecture and system integrations with other platforms are required. This person is a hands-on worker who will drive the creation of logical models and documentation, and to work with others to design and implement process and tools.

 

Location: Costa Rica

 

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Design and build solutions based on established requirements
• Demo product functionality as needed
• Document standard operating procedures as needed
• Drive and ensure the qualities of a well-designed system for correctness, reliability, auditability, scalability, redundancy, and security
• Provide technical guidance and be a technical mentor to the Salesforce team in coordination with entire Salesforce CoE team including code reviews and requirements analysis
• Other duties as requested by Salesforce Manager and Team Lead
• Develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Copado or Gearset.
• Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, code collaboration, and repository management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the stability and performance of Salesforce applications.
• Maintain and update technical documentation related to Salesforce development and deployment processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration.

 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

• 8+ years’ experience of professional and relevant experience
• 6+ years working as developer within Salesforce including SOQL/SOSL, jQuery, APEX, Visualforce
• Expertise in Lightning/LWC developing Lightning Web Components, integrating APEX, Flows
• Experience with agile development and methodologies
• Experience integrating Salesforce with 3rd party applications
• Expert knowledge of security concepts (authentication, SSL, SSO, etc.)
• Expert understanding of integration patterns: SOAP/REST web services, APIs, batch processes, connectors, middleware etc.
• Proven experience in meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in Information Systems or Computer Information Systems
• Worked in SDLC environment using Jira/ADO and CI/CD tools like Gearset or Copado
• Worked with Experience Cloud – Partner Portal supporting various Role based access.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Copado or Gearset.
