Job Description

SGS North America, Inc., Branchburg, New Jersey. Perform RF Over the Air Antenna testing on mobile products with technologies such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, Wi-Fi, 5G(EN-DC) to ensure delivery of testing services that meet client’s requirements in accordance with Global wireless Forums’ test plans and SGS quality system; Perform debug and engineering services for wireless clients; Maintain high degree of knowledge of industry test requirements in order to assist customers and test equipment manufactures with issues; Responsible for maintaining one or more test platforms, building knowledge on said platforms: updating systems and isolating issues then communicating with test equipment service; Conduct testing in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relations; Complete all assigned chargeable work within the required timeframes to ensure customer and project staff satisfaction and efficiency of the business; Maintaining technical knowledge by learning the requirements of the test plans being asked to execute; Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfil SGS quality requirements; Assist in maintaining ISO17025 accreditation to ensure a high quality of service to clients; and Test system management, maintenance and calibrations to ensure compliance with the SGS quality system.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 
• Experience must include:
  • Four (4) years of experience in Research and Development for mobile product in telecommunication field and Mobile HW designs (RF Design & Antenna);
  • Two (2) years of experience with field testing, debugging and error correction; and four 4) years of experience in an engineering position in the telecommunication industry specializing in the development, analysis, testing of various wireless devices.
