The school is organized into four academic divisions, each led by a Division Head, sharing resources and a central administration, all of which is under the direction of the President.Schools of the Sacred Heart is committed to an in-person teaching model and faculty must be prepared to adhere to and support our Health and Safety Plan.
Purpose: Lead and execute Advancement events, including Parents Association (PA) and Donor Stewardship events, in collaboration with key stakeholders.Facilitate communications, support events, and ensure alignment with institutional procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Advancement/Parents Association Event Planning and Management
● Develop project plans, timelines, and run-of-shows
● Create and manage budgets and analytics
● Oversee the management of vendors and logistics
● Oversee the management of facilities/event requests
● Coordinate and manage event setup, takedown, and staffing, including volunteers
● Develop sponsorship packages and donor recognition in collaboration with PA event chairs and advancement leadership.
Marketing, Registration, and Communications
● Develop and execute marketing and registration needs, including invitations, registration criteria, digital and/or print brochures, emails, and RSVP tracking.
● Manage event-related communications, reporting, and presentations.
● Craft and disseminate PA communications through proper school channels
● Direct PA email inquiries to the appropriate school contact
Administrative and Cross-Departmental Coordination
● Fulfill paperwork, recordkeeping, and database management (e.g., Raiser's Edge)
● Provide support for signature Advancement and alumni events as needed
● Organize and track event inventory and materials
● Ensure proper gift entry, receipting, and donor stewardship in collaboration with the Advancement Associate
Parent Association (PA) Engagement
● Partner with the PA President on annual PA event strategies, including how to achieve annual fundraising goals
● Nurture key donor relationships via PA events and sponsorship opportunities in coordination with Advancement staff and the President's Office
● Attend monthly PA Board meetings and select committee meetings as needed
● Collaborate with senior advancement team members and Division Heads on annual class parent onboarding
● Maintain consistent information sharing of PA event initiatives with the Advancement Office and Division Heads
Qualifications
● Requires a BA/BS degree.
● Prefer at least two years of professional experience in development/advancement or a related field.
● Have a proven track record developing, defining and executing events of various sizes and complexity.
● Experience creating and working with revenue and expense budgets.
● Able to manage projects with minimal supervision, work quickly, and focus in a fast-paced environment
● Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
● Experienced working as part of a team and managing and motivating volunteers.
