About the role
From eye-catching marketing campaigns to vibrant in-airport activations and brand storytelling, you’ll help create work that captures attention and elevates the passenger experience.
This role will suit a candidate who is passionate about design, motivated to develop their skills, and inspired by the opportunity to create work seen by people from all over the world every day.
- Immerse yourself in the different brands across Dublin Airport, Cork Airport, ARI and DAAI, ensuring each brands guidelines and tone of voice are reflective of each.
- Create and adapt visual assets for use across print, digital, out-of-home, and in-airport activations.
- Support the development and rollout of campaigns for Dublin Airport, Cork Airport, ARI and DAAI.
- Produce design materials including digital media, print media, marketing campaigns, brochures, presentation decks, signage, and promotional collateral.
- Work collaboratively with the wider creative, marketing, and associated teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet business needs.
- Support the creation of motion graphics for digital displays and marketing campaigns (motion graphics experience desirable).
- Prepare artwork for print and liaise with print suppliers where required.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
- Participate in creative sessions and contribute fresh design ideas and innovative approaches to campaigns.
- Support content versioning, adaptation, and resizing for various formats and markets.
- Understand the full passenger journey, from car parks and lounges, to exploring Duty Free, right through to the departure gate. Gaining a deep understanding of how design can enhance every step of the airport experience.
- Degree or recognised qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a graphic design role, preferably in an in-house creative team.
- Experience designing for both digital and print formats.
- Experience working within or contributing to established brand guidelines.
- Animation and motion design experience (e.g., After Effects) is desirable.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to prepare artwork for production and print.
- Familiarity with creating assets for print and digital display formats.
- Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and develop within the role.
- Excellent communication skills to interpret briefs and present creative ideas.
