As a Carrier Business Sr. Manager you will be responsible for launching and managing Samsung Mobile’s B2B sales strategy for one of our high-profile carrier accounts. This person will be responsible for working closely with Samsung Mobile’s Carrier Sales Organization to ensure all efforts are appropriately coordinated prior to execution and all required B2B carrier sales, marketing, and product relationships are created at all levels both at our carrier partner’s area HQ and in the field.
This person will need to be comfortable in client facing roles with both functional / line of business and technical audiences. Strong presentation skills and technical acumen are critical to this role. Deep experience with mobile handsets, mobile applications, hosted mobile solutions, web applications and vertical based mobile technologies is important to facilitate deep relationships and credibility with carrier partners and customers.

Day to day responsibilities will include communicating with Carrier B2B Sales teams around product updates, program overviews and supporting their ongoing sales efforts. This individual will be measured upon their ability to execute against a quarterly business plan that they will develop in alignment with the overall B2B Sales Strategy set forth by Samsung Mobile’s Senior Leadership.

  • Manage and develop a sales team focused on the appropriate categories.
  • Drive Solution Revenue (Solutions include Samsung HHP, Tab, PC, Wearables, Accessories and Samsung Software and services)
  • Position Samsung’s mobile portfolio to increase Samsung’s market share and revenue in assigned accounts quarterly and annually
  • Manage Account Business Opportunities (BO), 100% accuracy in managing BO portfolio in Salesforce
  • Foster strong relationships with key carrier executives in order to successfully position the Samsung B2B portfolio and align Samsung / Carrier near-term B2B sales strategy
  • Establish annual sales targets and respective division go to market strategies to ensure quarterly revenue targets are exceeded and foundation is being laid for long term growth
  • Design channel specific supporting tactical plan, collaborating across multiple team internally and externally, maximizing team resources and capabilities.
  • Interface effectively at all levels of the Carriers B2B organization to obtain support for strategy and tactical plan, including negotiating and executing necessary arrangements, managing internal company processes, and adhering to company guidelines and policies.
  • Lead and, as necessary, persuade cross-functional and direct report teams in executing strategy and tactical plan.
  • Monitor and analyze Carrier sales performance, explain performance variations and effectively adjust any necessary action plans required to achieve results.
  • Drive the business forward and deliver sell-thru and other specified results tied to Samsung products and solutions. 
  • Develop comprehensive business strategy for carrier based upon analyses of their strategy, capabilities, financial analysis, customer insights, portfolio, promotions, marketing and inventory.
  • Prepare and present reports and management analysis to establish business plans. Report on the performance of the assigned business division against plan.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Samsung Mobile Hardware and Software and the Android operating system including Android for Enterprise.
  • Manage communications, sales promotion development, and training as required to stimulate and facilitate the sale of Samsung Mobile B2B Solutions.
