We’re looking to add to our quickly-growing team with an entrepreneurial-minded, high-achieving leader who will be instrumental in growing our thought leadership, corporate storytelling and executive communications function at the agency. This role will serve as a Sr. Account Supervisor, helping to manage priority executive communications, thought leadership and corp comms accounts as well as helping to drive other priority internal/external agency initiatives.  
The ideal candidate will be a communications expert and project manager with the ability to multitask, self-motivate and work within deadlines. This role is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is available only in New York.

Responsibilities


This role will provide a significant entrepreneurial opportunity, working closely with the co-founders (and other senior leaders), in shaping the company’s culture, chemistry and providing input regarding policies and procedures.  Key responsibilities include: 
  • Help to drive corporate communications workstreams forward.
  • Focus on corporate storytelling, executive communications and brand narrative development across earned, owned and Executive channels.
  • Help craft our clients’ corporate narratives 
  • Support competitive analysis and media audits to uncover narrative white space for brands
  • Drive forward thought leadership initiatives for key members of the leadership team
  • Drive earned business and innovation storytelling for the brand, showcasing new features and products through priority corporate narratives
  • Identify, vet and secure speaking opportunities, panels, main stage moments and awards
  • Support thought leadership initiatives across innovation and product focused workstreams 
  • Partner with existing team to uncover new angles and opportunities to drive our clients’ corporate narratives 
  • Liaise with business and trade media 
Ongoing Responsibilities: 
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of our clients’ business and drive results 
  • Help develop communications strategies and activations to meet client goals
  • Support senior leaders in training and build strategies for C-Suite executives across our client roster
  • Drive PR narrative development across priority projects, through the lens of executive voices
  • Leverage media relationships to break through with news and ongoing brand narratives
  • Create and execute PR strategies for quarterly earnings announcements   
  • Develop strategies to raise the visibility of key executives via owned social channels for both executives and the brands they lead
  • Be proactive, anticipate client needs and keep multiple activities moving
  • Maintain current knowledge of trends, the competitive landscape, and confidently provide strategic point-of-views to the client
  • Develop and deliver informed strategic recommendations based on understanding of best practices across each client’s category and competitive set

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in integrated communications
  • Prior PR agency experience; integrated communications strategy; specialization in thought leadership; strong writing and narrative development skills; expertise in executive comms (owned and earned) 
  • Strong media relations skills and contacts
