As a Security Professional - Industrial Site - Morning Shift in Spokane, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control by monitoring and managing entry points while conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document activities and communicate with your team, all while delivering excellent customer service. Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the facility.
• Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or presence of unauthorized persons, according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Assist with implementing site-specific security-related procedures to help to deter disruptions to business operations.
• Maintain a visible presence at assigned posts to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
