  • Level 1 Estimated annual base pay: $16.85 - $21.06 (midpoint) - $25.27

  • Level 2 Estimated hourly base pay: $18.46 - $23.08 (midpoint) - $27.70

  • 15% shift differential for second shift

Are you ready to make your mark? We have an exciting opportunity for you. The Mechanical Assembler reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, adjusting and fitting subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment, in an industrial setting. The position works under some supervision and limited contact with external suppliers or customers.

This is for a second shift career from approximately 2:30pm - 1:00am, 4 days a week Monday-Thursday

What You Will Be Doing 

Level 1

  • Assemble and/or perform preset calibration/final testing. Performs low to moderately complex assembly and test. Products may include but are not limited to small products, light subassemblies, and/or complete units of a smaller size.

  • Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per proper work instructions.

  • Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment as per work instructions.

  • Follow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performed.

  • Perform test stand preset calibration and final test of product. 

  •  Notice inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility.

Level 2

  • Assemble and/or perform preset calibration/final testing. Performs moderately complex assembly and test. Products may include but are not limited to small, medium and large products, subassemblies and/or complete units.

  • Complete Warranty Data Reports on Warranty Returns.

  • Identify quality/process improvements.

  • Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment as per work instructions.

  • Assist engineering to improve processes and solve complex problems.

  • Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per proper work instructions.

  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of moderately complex assembly and/or test problems.

  • Follow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performed.

  • Work with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.
