Furniture Mart in Houma, LA is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Retail Furniture Sales Associate to join our team! If you have a passion for helping people create beautiful spaces and a knack for building customer relationships, this is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers on the showroom floor, providing a welcoming and consultative sales experience
Guide customers through product selections, including sofas, bedroom sets, dining furniture, and home accessories
Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product inventory, features, pricing, and promotions
Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and post-sale satisfaction
Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times

Requirements:

Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred; furniture or home décor experience a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS and inventory systems
Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
High school diploma or GED required
