Job Description

As HRBP for Medical Affairs and SM&M you will be accountable for implementing people and organizational strategy across these groups, supporting +/-300 employees. In this role, you will be acting as a trusted sparring partner, coach, mentor, and advisor to enable high-performance teams.

 

  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the organization and people agenda derived from the business strategy.
  • Partner with the business leaders and HR to analyze workforce insights and assimilate talent data and competency gaps to further develop the people strategy for the function.
  • Leverage Pulse Surveys and other employee engagement mechanisms.
  • Provide continuous consulting support in OD & job evaluation.
  • Proactively participate in the recruitment and selection of candidates to ensure top talent.
  • Ensure functional leaders take a proactive approach to building strong pipelines for all business-critical roles (succession planning).
  • Identify and discuss high-performance talent to support talents’ long-term career goals and business needs.
  • Help people leaders improve the quality and frequency of performance development conversations with their teams by continuously upgrading their coaching skills.
  • Partner with the Head of Talent & Organizational Health and the respective business leaders to help prepare the organization for the future in terms of Organizational Health, Team Effectiveness, and Individual Development.
  • Proactively partner with business leaders and local rewards partners in order to be aligned with the dynamic evolution of organizational structure and retention plans.
  • Play an active role as a catalyst of change by enabling key business transformations, supporting the business in communicating, and enabling change management.

Qualifications

Effective & fluent communication in German is required (C2)

 

  • Bachelor´s degree.
  • Significant strategic HR Business Partnering experience, including managing complex business change. (8+ years)
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, as well as the ability to translate business strategy into actionable people strategy.
  • Deep technical HR knowledge and skills associated with one or more of the following disciplines: Strategic Workforce Planning / Resourcing, Performance & Reward, ER, L&D, OD, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing complex HR projects through a complete project life cycle.
  • Experience managing a workforce in Europe including matrix management and influencing without authority.
  • Extensive experience in partnering with COEs to deliver on strategy and business plans.
  • Experience in managing teams at a local, regional and global level.
