Functional consultants who join Oracle Consulting need to bring business domain and industry expertise to develop leading practice, enterprise applications. Our back office functional consultants possess the capabilities of functional, process, and system usage knowledge combined with the necessary consulting skills to be able to consult and coach our clients through transformation.

We are looking to hire innovative functional consultants who can consistently and creatively identify solutions to address the needs of our clients for cloud applications. This functional consultant will work in the following domains:  Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM), specifically Oracle Subscription Management and Oracle Advanced Pricing. 

Specifically, you will be responsible for deliverables at every phase of the software implementation lifecycle such as:

  1. Preparing for, facilitating, and gaining agreement on global design. 
  2. Documenting the client’s as-is process flows and communicating best practices for the to-be optimal state.
  3. Adapting the solution for localizations or business processes specific to a client’s business unit. 
  4. Documenting and gaining agreement on the client configuration.
  5. Developing a test strategy to validate the solution and confirming successful deployment.
  6. Identifying risks or issues associated with assigned tasks; taking initiative to proactively alert project leadership of any risks or issues.

Client-facing responsibilities:

  • Recommends and rationalizes enhancements to Oracle products to meet complex customer needs.
  • As an SME and customer advisor, you will influence customer leadership in the acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals.
  • Provide thought leadership around industry-leading practices for improving operational efficiencies and profitability of client business.
  • Work with client and Oracle team to develop business solution designs to ensure that business requirements are met.
  • Experience as a resource in the implementation full lifecycle of at least 3 Oracle Cloud SCM implementations and supporting Oracle Cloud with hands-on configurations.
  • Own the day-to-day activities of Oracle Subscription Management and Advanced Pricing modules, including process design, implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews.
  • Ability to configure Oracle Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups.
  • Assist with design workshops and functional process workshops in all Oracle Subscription Management and Advanced Pricing areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.
  • Define testing scenarios and develop validation scripts.
  • Support clients with the execution of validation scripts.

Qualifications:

Oracle Subscription Management and Oracle Advanced Pricing applications experience, including but not limited to:

  • 6+ years of Oracle Cloud SCM experience in Oracle Subscription Management and Oracle Advanced Pricing. 
  • Oracle Cloud certifications are desirable. If not, willing to obtain Cloud Certification shortly after joining Oracle.
  • Broader product, technology or industry expertise is an advantage. Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and standard processes. 
  • Knowledge of the technology landscape & partner products and solutions. 
  • Proficient in using selling and negotiation techniques and tools.
  • Shown leadership capabilities.
