Requirements

JOB SUMMARY

At Wrench, Inc. our Mobile Technicians repair and maintain cars to meet our high standards. Our Mobile Technicians use their skills to diagnose, fix and prepare vehicles for our customers and partners. From repairing engines to oil changes, tune ups, brakes jobs and no-starts, our Mobile Technicians are here to help remove the hassle of vehicle ownership. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues.
  • Perform a wide range of repairs, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, and other automotive systems.
  • Efficiently address and resolve breakdowns, no-start situations, and other mechanical or electrical problems.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Ensure that vehicles receive scheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Travel to customers' homes, workplaces, or roadside locations with a fully-equipped service vehicle.
  • Provide services in a timely and professional manner, respecting customers' schedules and preferences.
  • Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately.
  • Maintain and regularly calibrate tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. 
  • Complete detailed repair orders, documenting all work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Process warranty requests and maintain accurate records of service history.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, explaining diagnoses and repair options clearly.
  • Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approval before commencing repairs.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new automotive technologies.


REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical school or certification is a plus - Master Te
