ROLE SUMMARY

The Part-Time Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Partnerships and Pipeline Programs, supports the recruitment, progress, and overall experience of highly qualified, diverse candidates in Alliance’s teacher credentialing and pipeline programs. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate tracking systems for teacher pipeline candidates, conducting phone screen interviews, coordinating interview panels, and supporting mentor teacher tracking efforts, including maintaining records of credential status and recommendations. Additional duties include making recruitment calls, preparing professional development materials, managing email communications to program stakeholders, and drafting internal messages to promote pipeline opportunities through newsletters. Please note that this role is temporary and contingent on current funding committed through June 30, 2026.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment

  • Organize and update candidate profiles and records using Google Suite and the applicant tracking system.

  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and collaborate with credentialing partners on interviews. Arrange and manage interview panels for all prospective candidates.

  • Maintain an accurate tracker of talent pipeline candidates, including their job application materials (transcripts, résumé, and statement of interest) and other relevant candidate information.

  • Send out and collect initial signed offer letters.

  • Conduct phone calls for talent pipeline recruitment purposes.

Program Progress

  • Maintain an active tracker for all newly hired Teacher Resident Interns.

  • Assist in completing a variety of administrative-level tasks.

  • Send email communications to stakeholders regarding residency program updates and information.

  • Conduct program-related communications and reminders to school leaders, residents, and the Home Office.

  • Provide support for organizing logistics for events or professional development sessions.

Onboarding

  • Conduct onboarding support to newly hired Teacher Resident Interns candidates including collecting materials like signed offer letters, TB results,  COVID vaccination status, and LiveScan results.

  • Track material collection completion status to ensure Teacher Resident Interns can start on their designated start date.

  • Support internal and external questions regarding onboarding timing and the collection of materials.
