Staff Accountant - Integration & Treasury Management

The Staff Accountant - Integration & Treasury Management will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity across company and client operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of financial transactions, general ledger management, and banking reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, verify data accuracy, and report findings.
• Assist in the integration of financial data during acquisitions and mergers, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals.
• Manage treasury functions, including bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and working capital analysis.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations by staying updated on current legislation.
• Identify and implement process improvements for financial reporting and recording procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare special financial reports and provide analysis on trends as needed by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or Business Accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
• Experience with P&L statements, balance sheet accounts, A/R, A/P, and reclassification journal entries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience of financial integration during mergers/acquisitions.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP platforms.
• Inventory accounting knowledge is a plus.
