Overview

We are looking for a Food Service Associate IPCC to join our team. This position will directly report to the Executive Director RN IPCC and is responsible for ensuring food services needs are being met.

• Prep all food in sufficient quantities to cover all service requirements according to strict sanitary standards following approved menus and patients’ special requests
• Maintain sanitary conditions by thoroughly cleaning work areas and equipment during and after meals
• Serve patient food by preparing trays or serving dining tables
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for patient’s rights

About You

• Six months’ experience as a food handler
• Must complete an accredited food handler training program approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) within 30 days of employment
• Must maintain a Texas Food Handler Certificate throughout employment
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, standards of sanitation and quality standards of good food service
• Ability to make simple calculations and follow instructions
