Truveta was born in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees who live across the country.  Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid model and working from anywhere.  In person attendance is required for two weeks during the year for Truveta Planning Weeks.

For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time.

This Opportunity

We are looking for software engineers excited by the opportunity to improve health care in far-reaching ways.

In this position, you will be building the next generation healthcare analytics platform that empowers data-driven improvements in healthcare. Patients will benefit from improved quality of care and outcomes. While Health Systems will benefit from improved operations and financial outcomes. This opportunity requires creative problem solving within the guidelines permitted by law as well as implementing and supporting systems capable of analyzing healthcare data at unprecedented scale. In particular, you will be, among other work, building analytical data models, working on data processing pipelines for dimension and fact creation, implementing OLAP cube-like functionalities (using Synapse or other similar technologies).

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your expertise to build large scale distributed systems, and data warehouse analytics solutions.
  • Hands on contribution to all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment, Operations, Performance).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, clinical informaticist, architects, and other engineers.
  • Innovate using strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in the healthcare domain.
  • Guide workstreams, mentor and inspire junior developers and cultivate a positive work environment.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience building production quality services on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • 5+ years of experience with large scale distributed systems or data systems
  • Experience building cloud services with data programming languages like Java, Python, or C#
  • Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Redshift/BigQuery/Synapse, Kubernetes, PowerBI) is a plus.
  • Experience working as part of distributed teams is a plus
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
