We specialize in analytical tests for (bio) pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates and (bio) pharmaceutical products. We perform a very diverse range of analyses for a large number of national and international clients within the (bio) pharmaceutical industry.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Managing the different phases of a proposal life cycle from Request for Proposal (RFP), to quotation preparation until post-decision review:</p><ul><li>Act as first point of contact for new (potential) clients.</li><li>Disseminate initial RFP information to relevant contributors.</li><li>Create a compelling proposal or quotation that clearly conveys the company’s service offer, a strategic approach to meeting customer’s needs, key messages, values and competitive differentiation.</li><li>In cooperation with Business Development Managers (BD), analyze customer’s needs to prepare proposals.</li><li>Collaborate and coordinate with the Business Unit (BU) and relevant stakeholders in the process of timely preparing the proposal or quotation.</li><li>Ensure that the proposal or quotation is in accordance with company policies and customer specifications.</li><li>Working with BD to interact with or present proposal content to customers.</li><li>Update and maintain quotation templates and other customer-facing documentation.</li><li>Work closely and act as an intermediary between the BD and different BU experts and, where applicable, between clients and BU experts.</li><li>Create and maintain client and commercial information up to date in the relevant systems: CRM, ComLims offer, ComLIMS quotation and eLIMS.</li><li>Participate in various team projects to improve the workflow and optimize the Business Support processes related to the various LIMS modules.</li><li>Store signed contracts and agreements with clients in the eLIMS Document Management database to keep database up to date.</li><li>Maintain the LabAccess portal by enrolling new clients, updating contacts, providing support and customer service for LabAccess related matters, both internally and to customers.</li><li>Perform other support duties, as needed.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Master’s degree in Life Sciences with relevant laboratory experience.</li><li>Knowledge and interest in cell and molecular biology, microbiology, and virology.</li><li>Strong interest for business environment, capable and eager to combine both scientific and financial skills.</li><li>Experience to work both in team and independently, ability to work towards long and short-term deadlines.</li><li>Experience or ability to work with complex systems, such as LIMS systems.</li><li>Capable of communicating with different stakeholders within the company and with customers.</li><li>Required proficiency in English. Dutch language is an asset.</li><li>Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving attitude.</li><li>Excellent organizer with good time management skills.</li><li>Able to work in a team and closely collaborate daily on multiple group projects.</li><li>Proactive and willing to take action in front of complex situation to promote resolution.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>This position is based at Business Unit Eurofins NBLSC (part of Eurofins PROXY Laboratories B.V.) on the Bio Science Park in Leiden.
