Seeking Clinical Nutrition Supervisor!

Full-time, dayshift

Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area

The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor oversees the clinical nutrition department, performs administrative duties, and participates in patient satisfaction, quality management, and performance improvement projects.  Collaborates with the leadership of Baptist Health System, other leaders in Food and Nutrition, as well as leadership in other departments, as it relates to patient care and nutrition. Plans, directs, participates, and provides optimal, age appropriate, medical nutrition therapy for hospital or physician referred patients. Supervises and participates in development and provision of nutrition education for patients, staff, and the community. The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor will perform additional necessary tasks to support the daily function and professional growth of the department and staff. This job code typically involves overseeing a clinical nutrition department at a hospital with an average daily census less than 300.

Qualifications: 

• At least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Masters degree in dietetics required for those who graduated after January 2024. Degree must be recognized accredited University or College approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice (must obtain within 3 months of hire)
• At least two (2) years’ experience as clinical dietitian
