Hiring Incentive up to $2500.
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant I (COTA I) will assist Occupational Therapists in execution of therapy programs for persons with neuromotor dysfunction (e.g., children/teens with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system). The incumbent will assist in delivering high-quality care with the goal of facilitating functional independence and occupational engagement to resume family, school, and community life following their course of rehabilitation. This position will participate in intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary training and clinical programs, maintain appropriate patient records, and may assist with clinical supervision of certified occupational therapy assistant students and therapy aides.

Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Maryland.
- Certificate from American Occupational Therapy Certification Board as an Occupational Therapy Assistant with successful completion of national registration exam.
- Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in pediatrics and/or rehabilitation and treatment preferred.
Minimum pay range
USD $55,000.00/Yr.Maximum pay range
