HVAC/Building Automation Specialist Opportunity

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a full-time opening for the position of HVAC Building/Automation Specialist – P00540 with Facilities HVAC/BAS Maintenance. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

​What You’ll Do

As HVAC Building/Automation Specialist, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe and efficient environment at the College.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:

• Performs skilled work in the maintenance, alteration and repair of buildings, furnishings, and equipment, including carpentry and masonry, as well as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and electronics systems.

• Hours: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.

• Four (4) years of experience in HVAC, two of which involved the repair of electronic building automation systems.

• Successful completion of the Johnson Control and / or Siemens - Institute program relating to the operation and programming of Building Automation Systems.
