Software Engineer, Full Stack

Our services span collectible coins, trading cards, video games, event tickets, autographs, and memorabilia through our subsidiaries, which include Professional Sports Authenticators (PSA), Professional Coin Grading Services (PCGS), Wata, Certified Coin Exchange (CCE), Collectors Corner, Set Registry, Collectors.com, and the Long Beach Expo collectibles trade show. Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated more than 80 million items. We employ over 1,500 people across our Santa Ana, CA headquarters, New Jersey, Seattle, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo.

Team Overview

We are building Collectors future cloud-based platform that will be flexible to scale into new markets and additional collectible brands and support new and exciting features making a huge impact on our internal and external customers! We are looking for full-stack software engineers to join agile teams to continuously develop and improve our high-revenue generating internal suite of technology. Position is remote-friendly! 

What You’ll Do:

• Contribute to the design and development of new cloud-based software architectures
• Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability and deployment
• Provide feedback pertaining to technical designs, proposals and code
• Analyze existing applications / databases and identify areas for improvement
• Design and contribute to APIs that can support user experiences on web and native applications
• Collaborate with engineers while also participating in code reviews to ensure consistent design patterns are being applied
• Enhancing and integrating 3rd party software such as NetSuite, Boomi, Workato with our existing systems.

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience building web applications, APIs, scalable and distributed systems within tech industry
• Fluent in client-side frameworks, such as Vue.js or React
• Fluent in .Net, Python, Java, C#, or other high-level language, also not afraid to take on other new technologies
• Fluent in SQL and database table design
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with cloud technology especially with serverless computing, and event driven architecture. 
• Familiar with Service Oriented and Microservice architectures
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including an understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Familiar with client-side frameworks such as Vue.js
• Proficient at using appropriate security, testing, documentation, and/or monitoring best practices
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• B.S/M.S in Computer Science or related fields preferred.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $101,549 to $164,867. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
