Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer or Senior RF Engineer who will help architect, design, and develop the next generation of XP Power High Performance Generators and Matches. 

The ideal Senior Electrical/RF Engineering candidate will have a track record of a designing and bringing power products to market. The candidate will also bring unique skills in leadership, analysis, critical thinking, problem solving and risk management.

In this role, the main responsibilities will be:

•    Design, implement and debug high frequency, high efficiency power amplifiers, preferably in the 100kHz to 60MHz frequency range and power levels from 100W to 10KW.
•    Provide clear data driven proposals and results to the management team and customers.
•    Help develop and maintain project plans for product development, release, transfer, and ramp in factories, both domestic and overseas.
•    Manage, direct and coach a development team of 2-6 co-workers.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree required, MSEE preferred
• 7+ years of experience in an engineering design.
• 100kHz / 60MHz RF System Design desired.
• 100W 10kW High Power Design desired.
• Knowledge of RF/ Analog / Digital control modelling and simulation.
• Experience with Altium circuit design and layout, MATLAB, SolidWorks and AWR tools.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
• Team player, able to work with a world-wide workforce.
• Self-Starter, Hands-on.
• Driven to achieve goals and meet timelines
• Exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills; ability to clearly and concisely communicate and present information.
• Demonstrated ability of successfully designing, developing, and bringing high power RF products to market.
