Job Description:

Trailer Equipment / Trailer X-Press seeks a Quick Service Trailer Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Evaluate and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn heavy-duty parts.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and tools.
• Test the equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED – Required
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience with heavy-duty equipment repair – Preferred
• State Certifications – Preferred
• Trailer body and Welding and Fabrication experience – Preferred
• Must have your hand tools
• Strong time management skills
• Self-starter with a great attitude
• Must be able to pass a lift test
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and audiogram test
