About the team + role
The Brokerage product finance team supports the largest P&L at Robinhood. We oversee all financial aspects of Robinhood's core trading & interest margin products in Brokerage (equities, options, margin lending, securities lending, and uninvested cash) as well as Operations functions including Brokerage Operations, Customer Experience, and Customer Trust & Safety.
As a Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst for Brokerage, you will play a key strategic role in linking operational and business decisions with financial outcomes. You will be responsible for partnering with cross functional partners across Product, Engineering and Ops to act as a financial steward of the company. You will also play a critical role in establishing and tracking financial metrics and keeping leadership informed of key trends.
The ideal candidate will have proven experiences in past roles influencing business leaders and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires someone who can navigate ambiguity and interdependence, and drive others towards tactical outcomes. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership at Robinhood and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What you’ll do
- Synthesize and distill key financial business insights for leadership - analyze results, identify key metrics, assess risk and communicate risks & opportunities
- Forecast revenue and OPEX across multiple Brokerage products/functions and provide analyses to support business cases for growth, product builds, and other initiatives
- Partner closely with business partners and team members to communicate performance vs. budgets and forecasts and ideating action items
- Lead updating key financial slides and metrics weekly, monthly and quarterly
- Execute on ad-hoc projects to ensure a high level of data fidelity to support forecasting (working closely with all cross-functional business partners)
- Be a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions to support the next wave of Robinhood’s growth
- Develop product and business annual plans, financial forecasts, and ongoing analysis of variances
What you bring
- A Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of finance experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility in financial planning and & analysis, investment banking or equity research, preferably within or covering the brokerage industry
- Strong project management skills and ability to execute collaboratively across complex environments
- Ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written comms, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
- Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics, and the business judgment to balance the details while not losing sight of the big picture
- Mastery of spreadsheets and presentation software, such as Google Sheets, Google slides, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
