Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Senior Living Community 

Location: Northeast Indianapolis, near Lawrence 

Schedule: Full-time (30-40 hours per week).

 Join our dynamic therapy team at a vibrant senior living community in northeast Indianapolis, near Lawrence. This beautiful 57-acre campus features outdoor spaces and exercise equipment, satellite gyms located in both Assisted and Independent Living areas, and a spacious therapy gym in the Health Care Center.  Therapy gym is fully equipped and includes dedicated office spaces and an ADL training kitchen and bathroom. This is a full-time position, 30 to 40 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become part of our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will work with a diverse population of residents, addressing their unique therapeutic needs to help them achieve greater independence and improved physical health. You'll be supported by a collaborative team, providing opportunities for both professional growth and meaningful impact on patients' lives. 

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in implementing and delivering individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists.

· Support residents in achieving their therapeutic goals and improving mobility and overall quality of life.

· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress.

· Foster a positive and supportive environment for both residents and team members.

Requirements

Applicants must have active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license, including graduation from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapist assistant education program and subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam to obtain licensure or certification required by the state.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
