The Medical Education Associate is responsible for supporting the Medical Education Department with building and managing HCP registration for all US programs as well as monitoring post-training metrics. This role will collaborate with internal business partners, vendors, and suppliers to support key objectives of the Company’s medical education programs delivered through various channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
▪ Takes direction from the Sr Director, Medical Education in collecting key objectives and reports to stakeholders the combined consensus for educational programs across all divisions
▪ Maintains relationships with key physician educators and facilities, product management, sales management, and regulatory affairs
▪ Develops the annual physician education calendar, including publishing individual deadlines related to the training time, location, and content to be delivered to the customer and field sales force
▪ Coordinates educational programs to both AngioDynamics’ current and potential customer base and other potential market spaces
▪ Logistical support as needed
▪ Prepares, utilizes, and reports on metrics to assist in measuring the effectiveness and success of all educational programs
▪ Attend educational events as assigned, coordinates all logistics and event materials before and during events
▪ Attend educational events during evening and weekend time periods
▪ Ensures remuneration to healthcare providers working in partnership with AngioDynamics is managed and done per Company policies and AdvaMed guidelines
▪ Provides timely communication of all physician education logistics/deadlines to Brand Managers, Product Managers, Field Sales Managers, and Field sales force, including sponsorship and educational grants, events registration, hotel reservations, printing and advertising
▪ Maintains the integrity of all programs and course materials, including formatting in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
▪ May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS –The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

Education and Experience
• Bachelors Level of Degree in related field of study
• 1 year of demonstrated experience in events/meeting planning, emphasizing clinical or scientific societies is desiredExperience with all facets of event coordination, including travel and logistics and Sunshine Act reportingNo Certifications RequiredAny preferred education, experience or certifications: Medical device background a plus
Skills/Knowledge
▪ Well-developed project management and organizational skills
▪ Ability to build and maintain key relationships across the Company and with physicians and internal and external training staff
▪ Self-starter must multi-task and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
▪ Ability to quickly provide solutions to a variety of problems
▪ Knowledge of healthcare/medical education guidelines
▪ Excellent writing and grammatical skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and experience referencing medical literature
▪ Proficient in the following computer software applications: Microsoft Office, Adobe
▪ Proficient in the following event management software applications: CVENT
▪ Proficient in the following learning management system: Cornerstone
▪ Exceptional interpersonal skills.
▪ Strong organizational skills.
▪ Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
▪ Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
▪ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance. instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
