This Digital Strategist will be responsible for creating and directing the execution of innovative strategies that address our clients’ specific needs and goals. The position will leverage their industry and channel expertise, along with learnings from fellow channel strategists across the organization, to develop comprehensive strategies, budgets, and revenue projections. This role will also be responsible for leading or participating in client presentations.

The position will lead Digital strategy engagements for select clients and will work alongside other channel strategists and Client Partners to lead digital discussions with the client, develop presentations, create strategic plans, write strategic briefs, develop digital program projections and report back on program health.    

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop annual digital program plans and budgets.
• Present digital strategies to clients.
• Act as a subject matter expert in digital channels – email, SMS, website
• Present digital fundraising program solutions and results during client presentations that may be either virtual or in person. 
• Draft campaign strategy briefs for clients that will be shared with clients and used by account managers and operations team members to execute campaigns.
• Create case studies that showcase client success stories.
• Provide digital program reporting and analysis and draft strategic recommendations from the analysis.
• Ascertain and develop personal knowledge of various client technical platforms for appropriate use in execution of digital strategies.
• Participate on client teams that serve RKD’s nonprofit clients. This position may work with nonprofits serving animal welfare, rescue missions or other faith-based organizations, food banks, and other humanitarian organizations.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience and Education: 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years’ experience in an agency environment with digital direct response marketing to develop digital marketing strategies using email, landing pages, website experiences, texting, paid media, social media, and other digital channels.
• Experience with Google Analytics or other digital analytics services, email marketing, and online fundraising platforms.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).

LOCATION: Remote.

Pay Range expected for the position: $60,000 - $75,000 annually.
