As our Sales Operations Manager at Formic, you will primarily be responsible for the processes, tools, and technologies that support the Sales Team at Formic. You will influence and optimize the sales process to support the team to operate efficiently and effectively. You will also be a bridge between different departments - including Marketing, Customer Success, Finance and Deployment - facilitating communication and systematically reducing and eliminating the barriers that impact the Sales Team’s performance as they generate revenue for the company. The ideal candidate will provide guidance on market trends, develop resources, and track long-term sales data, as well as partner with leadership to forecast business and report on revenue. 

As our Sales Operations Manager you will: 

  • Execute on the day-to-day, tactical elements of sales enablement programs, including improvement of and ongoing support within our tech stack
  • Track and analyze short and long term sales data, providing data-driven insights to ensure accurate and real-time visibility into team and individual performance and facilitate forecasting
  • Create and train on intuitive and graceful processes and user workflows and tooling systems that support achievement of goals
  • Execute on special projects to improve the effectiveness of the Sales Team (or cross-functional departments), as delegated by leadership
  • Master our tech stack and become the expert for how to assess opportunities
  • Streamline and optimize our tools and utilization to drive better company outcomes
  • Stay up to date with the latest tools and technologies, and evaluate and implement new ones that improve productivity and efficiency of the organization
  • Serve as a liaison between teams and upper management
  • Follow ethical and legal practices with consumer and customer data
  • Assist the Marketing Team in determining customer outreach methods
  • Monitor and assist with customer retention with proactive, actionable data for Customer Success and Sales to leverage
  • Train staff on new technology, software, and sales processes critical to their roles, both during onboarding and throughout tenure as needed

What makes you a great fit:

  • 5+ years of Sales Operations experience in a fast–paced environment
    • Bonus points if you’ve helped scale an early stage start-up and also have experience in a 100+ person company
    • Bonus points if you have proven people-management skills and are interested in building an effective team around you as the company grows
  • Expert-level capabilities with databases and sales software including Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Deep understanding of the sales process -from lead generation to closing deals, as well as of different sales methodologies and strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, specifically the capability to analyze complex sales data, identify patterns, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to perform advanced computing functions, including…

  • Strong verbal/written communication, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams of all level of seniority

  • Can-do, eager-to-serve attitude, adept in handling rapidly changin
