Automation Field Service Representative

Duties

• Determines equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
• Prevent, maintain, troubleshoot and repair the different equipment in order to maximize safety and utilization and reduce equipment rental.
• Be willing to learn the maintenance on the different equipment in the different fields of industrial services.
• Maintains daily contact with the Automation SME Manager to ensure that the repairs and plans for the equipment are being developed and executed properly.
• Interacts with vendors as necessary or directed.
• Assists in tracking and documentation of preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Actively participates in safety meetings.
• Depending on the assigned task, inventories, orders, stocks and issues equipment parts and chemicals to ensure they are available when needed.
• Obtains purchase orders as needed to replenish stock or replace parts.
• Assists on Turnarounds or as directed by the Automation SME Manager.
• Performs on call duty as necessary.
• Be willing to obtain different licenses and certifications as needed.
• Be willing to travel as needed.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of minimum experience in automated hydro-blasting. 3-5 preferred.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Basic math skill.
• Good communication skills, written and oral.
• Mechanical aptitude and abilities.
• Good Hydroblast and equipment knowledge.
• Prior experience with Hydroblast and equipment repair.
• Must Possess or being willing to obtain a TWIC card.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pass a medical and drug test.
• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned. Specifically, lift 50 pounds.
