About the role

• Operate and inspect forklifts, roll off truck, yard truck, excavator, loaders and skid steer.
• Manage the safe operation of the site’s equipment in the assigned areas.
• Conduct daily motorized machinery inspections on the site’s equipment.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management including plant operations

• Two year’s experience in the operation of mechanical equipment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to take appropriate safe action on their own initiative to prevent equipment damage or injury to personnel during emergencies or unusual situations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred 

• Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED. 
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb 
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs 
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces 
• Qualify to wear a full-face respirator  
• Consistently work in various weather conditions

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts
