Position Summary
The Senior Manager, BioPartnering Program Management position is intended to support new product launch program management activities across internal Caris BioPartnering (CBP) stakeholders and external teams with whom CBP interfaces. This individual will be a key member of the CBP team and will act as the primary liaison between all core team and matrix team members spanning BioPartnering, Alliances, technical operations/IT, translational informatics, legal, and other functions as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Core Team new product launch program manager for CBP initiatives across Dx, Data, Enterprise and Discovery units.
- Facilitates program reviews with both internal and external stakeholders on a routine basis. Acts as the primary contact for program updates and activities with relation to timeline, cost, and business need.
- Directs project team from program inception to completion of final deliverables. Aligns business needs to workstream deliverables from a cost, timeline, and technical performance perspective.
- This candidate will be responsible for organizing and running all new product launch working group meetings for the various business units within CBP. This role will provide end-to-end support for all scoping and risk analysis activities for all matrix team members. Primary responsibilities will include communication of prioritization, organization of all team activities, escalation of any potential roadblocks, and detailed tracking to organizational goals.
- Responsible for milestone deployment and adherence/reporting for program deliverables. Responsible for mitigating timeline risks with novel solutions involving reallocation of resourcing or prioritization of deliverables to support company objectives.
- Work independently, handle multiple projects in parallel, and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Communicate, document and archive project team activities and decisions.
- Conducts proactive risk management: communication of needs, mitigation plans, and requirements relevant to internal/external stakeholders.
- Build high morale and team commitment to goals and objectives by creating a compelling sense of common purpose and direction.
- Employ innovative ways to resolve problems in a highly dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of work experience in a project management or alliance management role.
- Minimum of BS and/or MS in Molecular Biology, Genetics or Engineering.
- Must be able to organize and identify project roadblocks to effectively deliver program milestones and meet established timeframes.
- The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate successful facilitation, organizational, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in program management skills and principles, including scope, schedule, resource, and risk management.
- Ability to highlight issues to senior leaders, drive consensus and forge solutions.
- Fluency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs including Excel (Forms, Formulas, Functions, Pivot Tables and Graphs), Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project. Salesforce familiarity also a plus.
