Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?

As a VP, Enterprise Solutions, you will collaborate with internal Technology and Business Partners to develop and implement solutions to enhance our Distribution, Sales, and Agency Experience capabilities. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the need and strategy of the various Business Units, develop streamlined solutions that are aligned across the Enterprise, and continuously enhance these experiences over time. This role also manages a team and requires keen business insight to effectively define, plan, and deliver business outcomes that support Travelers' strategic objectives.

What Will You Do?

  • Oversee and manage a team responsible for leading, defining and championing a portfolio of initiatives that span across teams to achieve common business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, to develop and articulate both short and long term vision and strategy, business architecture and the roadmap for delivering business outcomes in alignment with business need.
  • Drive all aspects of change management including assessment of organizational readiness, identification and analysis of change impact, and development of the change management strategies that mitigate risk to delivery and maximize employee engagement in partnership with Business and Technology Value Stream leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Implement a 'test and learn' approach to identify and refine future deliverables, analyze performance data and make adjustments to the overall roadmap ensuring responsiveness to changing business needs and market conditions.
  • Lead the pursuit of innovative solutions both internally and in the external marketplace to ensure competitive and industry benchmarking of critical capabilities.
  • Oversee data driven decisions related to funding, resource allocation, and prioritization of work to balance quality, cost, and timelines for maximized value to the business.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships across business areas and executive leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Master’s degree.
  • Ten or more years of experience in a leadership role focused on Agile execution delivering business solutions within tight deadlines.
  • Six or more years of experience in leadership and management of others.
  • Expert analytical skills with experience in making informed decisions using both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Line of Business with the ability to develop and leverage partnerships with the business and vendors, consult on business priorities, and optimize value by identifying solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Embrace and exemplify the core values of Agile which include openness, courage, respect, focus, and commitment.
  • Proven leadership, collaboration, influencing, and change management skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Expert written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns and ensure their buy-in and support for change initiatives.
  • Coaching and talent development skills including ability to mentor and motivate others and provide feedback.

What is a Must Have?

  • Eight or more years of experience in agile execution, sales and distribution, or related business experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in leadership and management of others.
