The Logistics Analyst – Plasma Innovations is responsible for development and execution of key logistics projects, initiatives and execution that will drive improvements, savings and value creation for the overall supply chain and Plasma logistics. This position will lead logistics projects, harmonize processes, and implement key initiatives across the business.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Support the Logistics strategy with the overall business goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance Logistics KPIs and trend analysis to support the organization to drive improvements in cost and performance.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager on KPIs, reporting and projects as needed.
  • Responsible for continuous improvements and lead sinitiatives, directed by the Supply Chain Manager related to logistics.
  • Responsible for leveraging best practices in logistics.
  • Provide support for Logistics transportation and warehouse supplier RFQs (Request for Quotations) and agreements.
  • Provide support for Logistics projects as required.
  • Coordinate special shipments as needed: freight quotes, insurance, equipment, timing, for non-SAP shipments. 
  • Provide support on tariff classification, customs procedures, trade compliance and free trade agreements.
  • Provide operational oversight and monitoring of logistics service providers (warehouses and carriers) for Plasma Innovations.
  • Analyze customer order data and work with customer service and sales teams to improve performance and processes.
  • Analyze carrier data and look for areas of efficiency gains utilizing the right carrier for regional and national shipments.
  • Analyze parcel data and work with provider to optimize routings and weight breaks, optimizing the parcel network, driving savings where applicable. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree prefered or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • SAP system expertise preferred.
  • Data analytics or data mapping software experience preferred.

 

 

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to summarize information and report meeting minutes.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory control methods, inventory expiration requirements, and achieving metrics. 
  • Demonstrated ability to support complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex supplier RFQs.
  • Demonstrated experience with logistics network modeling, transportation modes and requirements, international shipping requirements, import/export compliance and management, including benefits and risks of shipping mode alternatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively in a global environment developing strong linkages at all levels.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

LOCATION:

Hybird role splitting between Littleton and Lakewood, Colorado. 

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

CTL (Certification in Transportation and Logistics), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) preferred.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
