Position Summary/ Department Summary:
The Project Manager position will support the Children in Crisis (CiC) portfolio within the Global Health Program, overseeing projects that address pediatric health needs in humanitarian settings. This role manages cross-sectoral initiatives across CiC’s core streams – Knowledge Production, Technical Support, Education, and Policy & Advocacy – working closely with global partners, internal teams, and funders to ensure timely, effective, and compliant project execution. The Project Manager will coordinate project planning and implementation, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and programmatic support for projects focused on improving health outcomes for children affected by conflict, displacement, and natural disasters. This is a hybrid position based in Brookline & Boston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with planning, execution, and monitoring of CiC projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Support communication with internal and external stakeholders, including government partners (e.g., Ministries of Health, universities), district hospitals, NGOs, UN agencies, and funders.
- Draft and manage project proposals, including scopes of work, work plans, reports, communications materials, etc.
- Under the direction of a biostatistician, support qualitative and quantitative data collection and reporting for project monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- Contribute to the development of tools, processes, and training to strengthen program implementation and knowledge sharing.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, science, business administration or a related field required.
- Master’s in public health preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience required. 1+ year of experience managing multiple highly complex projects and budgeting experience preferred.
- Experience working in the humanitarian health sector required.
- Proficiency in Arabic and/or French preferred.
- Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant certification preferred.
